One of the most important reasons for the formation of BEHI ALDE was to give its workers living conditions similar to those enjoyed by the workers in the industrial cooperatives. The worker cooperative BEHI ALDE –extensive farming– is the largest dairy cattle breeding farm in the Basque Country.
